Join the Tidewater Jewish Foundation and the Jewish community on Tuesday, July 12 from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Reba & Sam Sandler Family Campus to meet a sofer, learn what they do, and see them in action.

Made possible through a collaborative TJF Community Impact Grant, a sofer (scribe) has been invited to the Tidewater Jewish community by Temple Emanuel to evaluate and assess the Torah scrolls of our temples and congregations. He will be checking 29 scrolls.

Don’t miss this special educational opportunity that will give members of the community the opportunity to meet the sofer in-person, ask questions, and learn about the grant. Free and open to the public. Light hors d’oeuvres to be served. Click here to RSVP.
