Emmy nominated PBS film "Nobody Wants Us" about the steamship, SS Quanza, detained in Norfolk, VA for refueling for its return trip to war torn Europe with Jewish refugees who weren't allowed entry into the U.S. Learn about our local Jewish heroes who helped save these refugees. Community discussion will follow with the film's director, Laura Seltzer-Duny and Eric Mazur, Professor of Judaic Studies, and Religious Studies at Virginia Wesleyan University, as well as Religion, Law, & Politics Fellow of The Robert Nusbaum Center at VWU.
