Housekeeper / Building Services Worker
Staff & Supervisor Positions available
Pay Rate: Starting at $15/hour, dependent on experience


The Sandler Family Campus in Virginia Beach is seeking experienced and dependable Housekeeping and Building Services team members and supervisors for immediate full-time afternoon/evening shift positions (Monday–Friday, starting at 12pm).


Responsibilities include cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, and athletic areas, assisting with event setups, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 1–2 years of commercial cleaning experience, preferably in a large institution (supervisory roles require prior leadership experience)
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with proper use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and safety equipment
  • Customer service skills with a professional, friendly attitude
  • Must be available to work other shifts if needed, including during emergencies
  • Floor tech experience a plus


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.; constant walking, standing, bending, stooping, stretching, kneeling, and stair climbing.
  • Criminal background check required.
