Housekeeper/Building Services Worker

Pay Rate: $17/hour

The Sandler Family Campus in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping/Building Services Worker for immediate evening shift positions (Monday–Friday, 12:30 – 9:00 PM). Responsibilities include cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, and athletic areas, as well as assisting with event setups. Candidates should have prior housekeeping experience and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a High School Diploma or GED
Dependability a must
At least one to two years of commercial cleaning experience, preferably at a large institution.
Familiarity with the proper use of basic cleaning tools and supplies; diluting cleaning chemicals and safety equipment
Must be sensitive to the needs and programs of the center.
Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to frequently changing priorities and the ability to remain flexible
Customer service experience, and a professional friendly attitude, helpful
Must be able to work other shifts if assigned; must be available to work during emergencies
Landscaping experience helpful
Floor Tech experience, a plus
Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
Constant walking, standing, bending, stooping, stretching, kneeling, and stair climbing, associated with the position.
Complete criminal background check required.
