The Bogrim Program Bogrim meets from 9:00-12:00 once a month on Sundays following the same calendar as PSARS. It is open to 8th-12th graders, regardless of synagogue affiliation. The Bogrim Program help our teens grow as Jewish young adults through discussions, social actions, mitzvot (good deeds) and middot (values) while using creative drama and role playing, and artistic expressions to round out the curriculum. Guest speakers, in-person or remotely, share their knowledge and experience with our teens. Several times, we go out in the community to do Mitzvot projects. The fieldtrips out in the community together gives our teens the opportunity to “do” Mitzvot, not just learn about them. Students will explore who they are individually as a young Jewish adult, who they are in the community, and what are their responsibilities in the world.
The 4 primary aspects of the Bogrim Program are: Leadership, Knowledge, Advocacy, and Action. Together, these prepare our teens to be leaders and advocates, to make the world a better place.
