UJFT seeks to strengthen the local Jewish community and foster the next generation of leaders

The United Jewish Federation of Tidewater is embarking on a forward-looking initiative by introducing a new internship project aimed at youth and young adults.

Acknowledging the challenges of a shifting job market and population dynamics in Tidewater, the initiative aims to retain local talent by highlighting career opportunities for young Jewish individuals.

Spearheaded by UJFT's Young Adult Division, the project will initially offer summer shadowing opportunities for rising high school seniors, with plans to expand to college students in the future.

Through this internship program, UJFT seeks to strengthen the local Jewish community and foster the next generation of leaders while connecting students with job prospects in Hampton Roads.
